Chichi [Che] Castillo is an independent filmmaker and musician in the San Francisco Bay Area. 

Their filmmaking practice is inspired by their experiences in skateboarding, DIY spaces, zine culture, QTBIPOC led mutual aid networks and  collaboration.

 

Their films explore self-determination, spirituality, friendship, and ecologies of care through a queer, femme, and sex worker lens.

Chichi is the co-founder of Stone Dove Collective and a co-host on Freaks of the Industry radio show.

They are currently completing an MFA in Cinema at SFSU and plays guitar in the band Sucker.
